Site Environmental Liability
For a single or multiple locations, ACE covers the following risks:
- Clean-up due to discovery of contamination
- Clean-up due to government order or third-party suit
- Bodily injury or property damage
- Legal defense
- Contingent transportation and disposal
- Business interruption
- First-party diminution in value
ACE can also write custom policies for the following types of liability:
- Commercial environmental

- Retrospective environmental legal and remediation
Contractors Pollution Liability
Contractors Pollution Liability (CPL) offers pollution liability protection for gradual as well as sudden and accidental third-party environmental liabilities arising out of the covered operations of an insured. CPL offers an array of coverages for an insured and their subcontractors while performing covered operations at a job site.
Remediation Cost Containment
Designed to act as a cap for the costs of a remediation project, this type of insurance can be combined with the coverages above or purchased on a monoline basis. It is useful for contaminated sites such as superfund sites, contaminated properties owned by all sizes of business, developers that specialize in Brownfield projects, contractors or consultants offering a “contractual guarantee” of remediation costs and goals, and governmental entities in possession of and/or responsible for the actual remediation of contaminated sites.
