ACE Risk Management Appoints Hale “Chip” Holden as Senior Vice President of the Northwest Region
Philadelphia, USAJanuary 28, 2004

ACE Risk Management (ARM), a division of ACE USA, today announced the appointment of Hale "Chip" Holden III as Senior Vice President to lead the Northwest region. Mr. Holden will have overall responsibility for overseeing the Northwest region of the country, serving large account customers for ACE Risk Management. ACE Risk Management offers comprehensive risk management programs and services, which are uniquely designed and customized to assist companies in any industry deal with the significant costs of financing and managing risk.  Based in San Francisco, Mr. Holden will report to Tony Apriceno, Senior Vice President and Director of Field Operations.

Mr. Holden joins ACE Risk Management from Discover Re Managers, where he spent eight years, most recently serving as Senior Vice President of Marketing for the Western states and Regional Vice President for the Western regional office. Prior to that, Mr. Holden held various account management and marketing positions in several organizations in the brokerage community, including Accordia Insurance Services in Sacramento, Calif. and Aon Risk Services in Northern California.

Mr. Holden began his career as a Casualty Facultative Underwriter at General Reinsurance in its San Francisco office. He holds a bachelor of arts degree in economics, with an emphasis on political science, from Denison University in Granville, Ohio. He also holds the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) designation.
