ACE Westchester Specialty Group, the U.S.-based wholesale focused excess and surplus property and casualty operation of the ACE Group of Companies (NYSE: ACE), today announced that it has appointed Jeffrey Hershman to the position of Vice President and Program Manager of its new Specialty Homeowners unit. Based in Philadelphia, Mr. Hershman will be heading a new initiative to develop Specialty Homeowner Programs in ACE Westchester Specialty Group’s Programs Division.

"Jeff is a seasoned insurance professional, and his experience and background make him a great choice to grow our Specialty Homeowner business."
Most recently, Mr. Hershman had been Assistant Vice President, Consumer Solutions Group at ACE INA since August 2001, responsible for developing and underwriting property-type products. He also has more than 15 years of insurance industry experience serving in a variety of product management, underwriting and operations management roles with an ACE predecessor organization.
Mr. Hershman holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Temple University.
