ACE INA announces the promotions of Karen Levine and Michael Canter to the positions of executive vice president, ACE Financial Solutions. Based in New York, both Levine and Canter report to Robert Omahne, president of ACE Financial Solutions.
Levine will continue her responsibility as head of the Finite & Structured Risk Products and Loss Portfolio Transfer business units and Canter will remain head of the Securitization & Risk Trading unit within ACE Financial Solutions.
“Karen and Michael have been instrumental in the growth and the success of ACE Financial Solutions,” said Robert Omahne. “I’m confident that in their new leadership roles as executive vice presidents, their contributions to this organization will take our business to the next level.”
Prior to joining ACE in 2000 as managing director, Levine held various senior level positions at AIG including vice president and chief actuary for AIG Risk Finance.
Levine earned a B.S. in mathematics and economics from the State University of New York at Binghamton. She is also an associate of the Casualty Actuarial Society, a member of the American Academy of Actuaries and a member of the International Association of Financial Engineers.
Prior to joining ACE in 2000 as managing director, Canter was senior vice president for AIG Risk Finance and vice president of Hedge Financial Products (previously known as Centre Financial Products).
Canter earned a B.A. in economics and mathematics from Northwestern University and a Ph.D. in finance from Columbia University School of Business.
