ACE Limited (NYSE: ACL) announced today that ACE USA has established two new product divisions: Warranty and E&O.

The announcement was made today on the first day of the annual Risk and Insurance Management Society (RIMS) conference being held in San Diego, California.

ACE USA President and CEO Dennis Reding said that the Warranty Division will be headed up by Marc Vivori in the company's headquarters in Atlanta and Rosemarie Rogers will oversee the development of E&O in ACE USA's newly-established New York office.

"Since our acquisition by ACE Limited in January, we are delighted to have been able to move quickly to develop new lines of business," said Mr. Reding. "The fact that we have been able to attract such experienced professionals to oversee our development in these two areas makes the opportunities for new business all the more exciting.

"Marc Vivori comes to ACE USA from AIG, where he was head of the North American Extended Service Contract Division in New York. Marc had previously held a number of positions with AEGON, again in the warranty field, including responsibility for retail service in the US, Canada and Mexico, and auto credit insurance in the US, Canada and the UK.

"Rosemarie Rogers has 19 years experience in the professional liability industry in various underwriting and management positions, most recently as Vice President of Diversified Professional Liability at CNA, a position she has held since 1995. Rosemarie joined Continental Insurance Company as Vice President of Specialty E&O in 1994. She began her career at National Union Fire Insurance Co. in underwriting, progressing to management of the Miscellaneous, Health Professional and Insurance Agents department. She joined American International Underwriters, Inc. in 1989 as Vice President for the Professional Indemnity Unit and was promoted to Divisional Vice President of the Open Brokerage Indemnity Unit at National Union Fire Insurance Co. in 1993.
