Business Insurance magazine readers have selected ACE as the “Best Liability Insurer” in its 2009 Readers Choice Awards.  The awards, which were announced in the publication’s November 16 issue, recognizes readers’ picks for the best overall commercial insurance industry companies based on a combination of service, value, quality and innovation.

ACE was recognized for its broad liability product offerings and customized coverage for nearly every industry.  Products include directors and officers liability coverage for public, private and non-profit institutions, errors and omissions coverage for more than 100 classes of professionals, employment practices liability, fiduciary, fidelity, and kidnap and ransom insurance.

“We don't limit ourselves. Our focus is really on understanding and underwriting to the individual risk and the characteristics of the individual company,” noted Tim O'Donnell, President of ACE Professional Risk, in the magazine’s review of ACE. “We can bring in resources and coordinate capacity and products from across the entire organization.”
