Ed Clancy was appointed to the position of Executive Vice President, ACE Group Holdings, with responsibility for Global Accident & Health, in December 2007. Mr. Clancy was named President and Chief Operating Officer of ACE Overseas General in July 2003. In that capacity, Mr. Clancy oversees the operations of ACE's businesses in Latin America, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, and the United Kingdom and Europe, as well as ACE Global Markets, the company’s London-based international excess and surplus lines business.

Mr. Clancy joined ACE as Senior Vice President, International Accident & Health, in March 1999. Just over two years later, in July 2001, Mr. Clancy was promoted to President, ACE Global Accident & Health, with additional responsibility for executive management of operations in Japan. Mr. Clancy remained in this post until July 2003, when he was appointed to his current position.

Before joining ACE, Mr. Clancy worked for AIG for 20 years. Mr. Clancy held various underwriting and management positions within AIG Accident & Health between 1979 and 1988. In 1988 he was appointed Regional Vice President, AIG Accident & Health, UK and Ireland. From 1991 he was Senior Vice President AIG Life, Accident & Health, North America, until he was appointed Regional Vice President, AIG Accident & Health, Far East, in 1995.

Mr. Clancy holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and Economics from Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove, PA.
